‘Francesc Català-Roca. Architectures without pedigree’ explores the anonymous architectures predating the Industrial Revolution that the photographer Francesc Català-Roca captured during his numerous travels throughout Spain. These photographs also served to illustrate regional guides.

Thanks to a light setup, visitors can watch a projection of various snapshots, many of which are being seen for the first time in this exhibition framed within the Catalan-Roca Year, as they had never been published, exhibited, or printed before.

Unlike other exhibitions about the artist, this show focuses on images of that architecture without architects, which shaped the landscape and which Català-Roca portrayed in the last years of rural life in Europe, just before its disappearance.
