Historical Archive
The Historical Archive houses the professional collections of over 180 architects, whose work is essential for understanding Catalonia’s architectural history.
This body of documents makes up a complete map that traces out the activity of architects from the 19th century to present-day architecture.
It consists of some two million donated documents including plans, maps, sketches, drawings, correspondence, etc., which make it an archive of significant importance for scholars and researchers.
The Historical Archive has branches in the cities of Barcelona, Girona, Lleida, Tarragona and Tortosa.
