A Noucentista light: Masó’s stained glass windows presents the architect’s original stained glass windows from some of his houses, as well as his original drawings and projects and a large sample of old and current photographs of the stained glass windows that can be admired in his buildings, some of which can be seen here for the first time.
The exhibition also explains how Masó, with the collaboration of the Rigalt & Granell stained glass workshop, became the greatest exponent of Noucentista aesthetic stained glass, while also showing influences from the stained glass windows of the Viennese Secession, Arts & Crafts and Art Deco. There are stained glass windows for domestic interiors, for industrial buildings and for religious buildings and, in each case, it can be seen how Masó considered leaded glass as an essential element of his modern architecture.
