On the weekend of October 22 and 23, the 48h Open House BCN returns, the architecture festival which takes place in Barcelona every year.
Visits to the COAC headquarters
As well as previous years, in this edition you will be able to visit the building in Nova Square, designed by Xavier Busquets in 1959. During the visit you will learn about the various renovations carried out on the façade and on the inside of the building, in addition to having access the 8th floor, the famous “Lookout Room”
The 48h Open House Festival is also an opportunity to visit the new exhibition of ‘Collections. Fernando Higueras: from the origin’, in which drawings, plans, photographs and models of the architect from Madrid are shown.
Likewise, as part of the festival, a cello and guitar concert by Alena Tikhmanovich and Josep Manzano will be held on Sunday 23 at noon. The entry is free, but prior registration is required due to capacity issues.
