The Architecture Festival of Sant Martí marks the beginning of the Architecture Festivities. Do you want to experience the Oliva Artés MUHBA with all your senses? The best way to inhabit, discover, and understand a space… is by drawing and dancing it. We will be both interpreters and spectators at the same time, guided by the hand of architect and choreographer Toni Mira. We will feel the history of the factory, spaces lived intensely thanks to the strategic performance of the BAAS Arquitectura team that has brought life back to Oliva Artés, home to the Urban Laboratory of the MUHBA, although the final phase of the works is still pending.

The Architecture Week evolves towards Architecture Weeks with an eye towards the future: Barcelona World Capital of Architecture 2026. It will be then when we transition from Weeks to Months of Architecture throughout the territory. The Architecture Festivals and Architecture in the Classroom are the two actions that the Barcelona Regional Council organizes year after year. The Architecture Festivals take place in different spaces of the city with the aim of highlighting a specific space or building in each district: identifying it, understanding the challenges it faces, and giving them momentum, both among citizens and institutions. Around these public spaces and buildings, guided tours, talks, concerts, and various workshops are organized to bring the community of architects and architecture closer to the entire population.
