7th session of the Europa Europa 2 lecture series with architect Luís Callejas from LCLA studio and the presentation by Beatriz Borque.

The cycle aims to showcase contemporary European architecture by presenting the works of the 8 invited architects, who will also be introduced by Catalan architects.

LCLA

It is an architecture and landscaping studio based in Oslo, founded in 2008 by Colombian architect Luis Callejas and Swedish architect Charlotte Hansson. The firm is distinguished by exploring the boundaries between architecture, landscaping, and visual arts, combining practice with applied research. Some of their notable projects include the aquatic center for the South American Games in Medellín and the renovation of the main stadium in Bogotá. Additionally, LCLA has gained international recognition and participated in exhibitions such as the Chicago Architecture Biennale and the Architecture Triennials in Lisbon and Oslo. Callejas also works as a professor at the Oslo School of Architecture and as a visiting professor at Harvard, contributing to the development of educational projects that merge architecture and climate sustainability.
