The exhibition of the 4th edition of  La Mostra d’Arquitectura de Barcelona, resulting from the competition convened in 2021 by the Barcelona demarcation, presents in a playful and flexible way the different works and projects submitted to the Catalan Architecture Showcases program, in this case the 4th edition of Barcelona, reproduced on a series of panels located in the various modules that make up the exhibition, inviting visitors to interact and discover the displayed material.

This material is housed in different wooden modules: a combination of boxes and files that allow for different degrees of exposure of the contents. It also allows for the construction of a narrative thread in the staging of the system, which changes depending on the space where it is located, thus adopting different groupings. Accessibility criteria are particularly taken into account, framed from a broad perspective.

The exhibition, designed by Salvestudio, a team formed by Jordi Quetglas and Mireia Costa, is quick and easy to assemble while minimizing packaging materials, with the exhibition module itself becoming the container for the exhibited items. Produced under the direction of Salvestudio, at Estudi Ferran Sendra carpentry in Cornellà de Llobregat, led by architect Ariadna Sendra, the aim was also to highlight the added value and entrepreneurial innovation of the industry that supports architects.

The authors of the selected works will explain their projects.

As a complement to the exhibition - and given the itinerant nature of the showcase - some teams will be explaining their works, selecting for each case the works located in the municipality where the itinerant exhibition is being held. Therefore, at the inaugural event of the exhibition at the Plaça Nova headquarters, three works located in Barcelona will be explained, and attendees will be able to pick up the publication of this 4th edition, which includes all the presented works. We have the presence of SUMO Arquitectes for the Escola de la Mar Bella; DATAAE + NARCH + MAIRA Arquitectes for the building at 47 HPO on Carrer d'Escolapi Càncer 10, and Vora Arquitectura for the strategic actions on the Rambla del Raval and surroundings.
